I’d like to invite and be a part of one of the greatest growing experience of human kind. Helping those lees fortunate around the world.
When I was a year and half old my mother died. I was raised by my grandparents . Which of whom had 12 kids of their own along with myself and my two siblings. They w4ere poor but they were hard working people and that’s how they got us out of poverty and managed to get us a good education to have better opportunities. As I was growing I observed my grandfather was willing to share his wealth which he accomplished with his hard work. He use to give out sacks of vegetables which he grew on the farm as well as bottles of milk, to those in need. This compassion did not only come from mt grandfather because my grandmother use to come home after long hours of work and make sure all her animals were fed. They were both kind and compassionate. I never met my biological parents but, I had the best parents life can give me.
I think we can all accomplish great things but, for me personally learning compassion through experience while helping others has changed my life. My parents inspired me to help other I hope you can be inspired as well.
GRACIAS FOR COMPASSION has made many friends in their present quest to bring needed aid to the people of Haiti and has extended their hand to other organizations in partnerships to bring supplies for the relief of the unfortunate victims of this natural disaster. more >>
Our Mission
Our mission is to establish an organization that will aid homeless children and stray dogs. We will provide food,clothing and shelter in our efforts while raising awareness in the communities surrounding our organization. In our efforts our goal is to begin in Haiti, then move forward to Costa Rica and Africa. With your help and our commitment we will make a positive diffrenece in these countries through dedication ,empathy and all the strength we have to make this mission possible. more >>About Us
Marjorie Umana is the Founder of GRACIAS FOR COMPASSION
The Mission of this Organization is to assist people in many ways including the most basic needs; food, clothing, shelter and spiritual healing and uplifting. Marjorie will go personally to Haiti and represent GRACIAS FOR COMPASSION and give out donations that the organization has received from individual caring people and major contributors.
